What to Expect

We know how hard it can be to come to church for the first time.

That’s why we’ve done our best to answer any questions you may have to make that first experience an enjoyable one! Everyone is welcome to come just as they are. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you or have you stand up. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

DURING THE SERVICE

We want to help people connect with Christ, connect with others, and connect with the world.  Our Sunday service is created to reflect that desire.  Every Sunday morning at New Hope you will hear a relevant, dynamic, straight-forward message based on the Bible that is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Our service lasts about 60 minutes. And basically, you can expect three things in our weekly services: Gospel-centered applicable preaching, singing together, and prayer.

At the end of our weekly services we do offer the opportunity to give an offering. There is a box in the foyer in which to place your offering. If you are a guest, please do not feel any pressure or obligation to give. This is an act of worship and obedience for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives and to give back to help continue the life-changing work of the church.

If you have kids, we have an incredible Children’s ministry that will provide top-notch care for your children (ages birth through 5th grade) during the message from our pastor. You can rest assured that your children will be loved and taken care of in a safe, secure, and exciting environment designed just for them, all while learning about Jesus!
