Our Beliefs

Statement of Faith and Beliefs

The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word. It is perfect, trustworthy, and the ultimate guide for what we believe and how we live (2 Timothy 3:15; 2 Peter 1:21).

The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully human (John 1:1; Hebrews 2:17). He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, performed miracles, died to save us from sin, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return in glory (Isaiah 7:14; John 20:1-31; Acts 1:11).

Salvation
We believe everyone needs to be saved because of sin. Salvation comes by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our own efforts. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and resurrection make this possible (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10).

Resurrection
We believe all people will be resurrected: those who trust in Jesus to eternal life and those who reject Him to eternal judgment (John 5:28-29).

Unity of Believers
We believe all believers in Jesus are united as one spiritual family through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9; Galatians 3:26-28).

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in Christians, guiding and empowering them to live holy lives (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 5:18).

Sex and Marriage
We believe God created each person as male or female, and these two genders reflect His image (Genesis 1:26-27). Marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy is only appropriate within this marriage (Genesis 2:18-24; Ephesians 5:31). Any sexual activity outside this context, including adultery, fornication, and same-sex relations, goes against God’s design (1 Corinthians 6:9-20).

Redemption
We believe God offers forgiveness and restoration to anyone who turns from sin and seeks Him through Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19; Ephesians 1:7).

Sanctity of Life
We believe all human life is sacred, from conception to natural death, because every person is made in God’s image. We are called to protect and value all life, including the unborn, the elderly, and those with disabilities (Psalm 139).

Final Authority
The Bible is our ultimate authority for truth, morality, and how we live.

*The Church’s Statement of Faith and Beliefs does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, being the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.
