Pastor Robert has served as the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church since June 2026. He is also an Army Reserve chaplain and first came to the Quad Cities in 2021 while serving on active-duty orders at Rock Island Arsenal.
Before entering full-time pastoral ministry, Robert taught at a Christian school in Virginia for ten years and served in youth ministry and adult Bible study teacher in several churches.
When he's not preparing sermons or spending time with church members, Robert enjoys running (with more enthusiasm than speed), The Lord of the Rings, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies.
